Morgan Simpson
Morgan Simpson recently graduated from the International Leadership of Texas Keller-Saginaw High School in May 2024, earning the distinction of Highest Honor Graduate. She skipped her junior year and graduated early, finishing in the top 10% of her class. She received honor cords for over 60 hours of community service and Trilingual Mastery (Spanish, Chinese, and English).
In school, Morgan held several leadership positions, including Varsity cheer captain, Vice President of Community Service for the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), and Event Coordinator for the Black Student Union. She was also an active member of the National Honor Society and the NAACP.
Morgan has actively served her community by working with several organizations and participating in various activities. She has been involved with Toys for Tots Drive, Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Hope for the Hungry, Adopt-a-Classroom, and managed her school’s hygiene care closet. She also contributed to her church’s children’s ministry.
Morgan is a member of Galloway Memorial Church of God in Christ in Farmersville, Texas. She has consistently been active in the church’s youth department auxiliaries, including the drama department, praise dance ministry, and youth choir.
Morgan will be attending Spelman College in the Fall of 2024. She will major in Psychology. Her goal is to become a criminal defense attorney, with the desire to help those who have been wrongfully convicted and incarcerated. She hopes to work with organizations like the Innocence Project.
Morgan is the daughter of Andre and Monica Adams of Haslet, Texas.
